A Nine-Month Training to Regulate Your Nervous System, Embody Safety, and Become a Healing Presence
A clinical psychologist who has specialized in the treatment of trauma for nearly 40 years.
Trauma touches all of our lives—whether it is through natural disasters, war, acts of violence, early-life experiences, or even a car accident or major surgery. And right now we’re collectively experiencing the effects of traumatic events with global impacts. The pandemic, for example, ushered in a new experience of collective trauma … as well as being retraumatizing for so many.
And while the challenges of trauma are real—the anxiety, the fear, the stress, the worry—there is hope.
With The Healing Trauma Program, I invite you to participate in a transformational nine-month “blended learning” event combining virtual live sessions and self-paced learning to explore trauma—what it is, how it impacts us, and how we can cultivate skills to grow from adversity.
Featuring teachings and practices from some of the foremost names in trauma healing—including celebrated educators, researchers, and clinical practitioners—this program will give you the tools to deeply understand your responses to trauma, anticipate your triggers, and uncover the solid ground within you during times of upheaval. This program speaks to the pain, the trauma, the loss that was present from the pandemic, and also from all the events in our largely unstable world right now.
Devoting yourself to this program will be a gift to yourself and others—an enriching, life-changing training with effects that will ripple over generations. Therapists, educators, community leaders, massage therapists, yoga teachers, and other helping professionals will find the wisdom of this course to be invaluable: an important professional skill that allows you to teach and nurture others in a deeper, more compassionate way. Parents, volunteers, and community members at large will greatly benefit from becoming a healing presence and calming influence to friends, family, peers, and all they encounter.
I look forward to sharing this journey together.

"The Healing Trauma Program has helped me find consistency… it gave me the tools to check in with myself."
"The course has… a strong emphasis on how to be in our bodies, and I have found that very, very healing."
"We have all experienced trauma… we all go in and out of a regulated and dysregulated state. So this is appropriate for anyone."
"A program like this you really evolve with. So the first time you watch something you pick up one or two things, and then the next time you watch [you’re] going to learn something new."
The traumatization in the collective means that we grew up in a world where the water we were swimming in contained many trauma aspects that we normalized by living in that environment.

Our opening trimester explores the importance of being able to self-regulate your body in the face of aggravating experiences large and small. Instead of being held hostage to the whims of an activated or traumatized nervous system, we will explore deeply experiential practices that aim to transform your body’s response, so that you feel more in control of every situation.

Not the world, not what’s outside of us, but what we hold inside traps us. We may not be responsible for the world that created our minds, but we can take responsibility for the mind with which we create our world.
