This live workshop with Dr. Jeffrey Rutstein invites you to explore your inherited roles with compassion and curiosity—not to reject your past, but to free yourself from the unconscious patterns that no longer serve you.

In This Workshop, You’ll Learn How To:

Identify the family roles that shape your sense of self and belonging

Recognize how these patterns show up in your emotions, body, and relationships today

Learn how our happiness may have become linked and limited by the past level of contentment of our family and caretakers
Differentiate between your “role” and your authentic self—who you truly are beneath the old conditioning

Loosen the grip of inherited and learned patterns that keep you repeating the same unhealthy habits and emotional reactions

Reclaim agency and choice so that you can relate to others with greater presence, honesty, and ease

Dr. Rutstein will blend decades of clinical experience with mindfulness, somatic, and other practices to help you safely explore how these early imprints live in your nervous system. You’ll learn how to work with your body’s responses to calm overactivation, soften emotionally reactive defenses, and expand your capacity to stay grounded and open.

As you unhook from these roles, a deeper freedom becomes available—the ability to show up as yourself, to set boundaries with love, and to cultivate relationships built on authenticity rather than unconscious survival strategies.

About Dr. Jeffrey Rutstein

Dr. Jeffrey Rutstein is a clinical psychologist, an expert in the treatment of trauma, a Certified Hakomi Therapist (CHT) for mindfulness-centered somatic therapy, and a meditation teacher who has been in private practice for over 40 years. He has practiced meditation for over 45 years.
