It’s no surprise to hear that anxiety is on the rise. Studies from the American Psychiatric Association indicate that over 40 percent of US adults feel more anxious than they did a year ago. If you’re among these many millions of people, you’re already aware of the external sources of stress we face, such as current events or insecurities around work. But did you know that anxiety starts on the inside, based on one’s particular nervous system and the way we’ve navigated the trauma of our past? With Navigating Anxiety, join trauma therapist Dr. Jeffrey Rutstein for a training in a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to working with the inner symptoms of anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and the epidemic sense of overwhelm in today’s times.

“Anxiety is hard enough to deal with and manage. It becomes even more challenging when we blame ourselves for our anxious reactions. In this workshop, we’re going to show you ways you can intervene with your anxiety and also free yourself from viewing your anxiety, fear, and worry as your fault."

—Jeffrey Rutstein, PsyD
