I’ve had experiences where ideas come to me from a deep knowing.
Many times I received inspiration and intuitive thoughts. These usually come after I quiet my mind in prayer and spend time in silence. Most recently I was struggling with the job I held at a company that recently merged with another. The culture had changed and no longer supported my values and ethics. I was struggling mentally, physically and spiritually working there. I spent time in silence and turned it over to the Universe. The answer came shortly after that I would announce my retirement and plan my departure. Ten days later even before I made my announcement I was offered a generous restructuring package. The outcome was better than I had planned.

I was walking on the beach in Oregon, digging my feet in and kicking the sand far out in front of me. I wasn’t really paying attention just digging my toes in and kicking it out in front of me digging my toes kicking lost in worrisome thoughts. A voice said stop. Pay attention. It said notice the sand in front of you.. it said that no matter how much sand You project out in front of you, it will land perfectly just as it’s meant to do. Notice you can’t tell where you’ve kicked the sand. And it was true the sand was perfectly smooth as if I had not done anything, you couldn’t tell where I had kicked the sand out in front of me. And It said go ahead and kick out ad much as you can, see what happens. and I kicked as much as I could of the sand out, the wind caught it and it just gently folded it into the sandy beach as if I had never been there at all.
Then it said look behind you. Behind me was a deep trail that I had dug in the damp sand. And the voice said there is a trail behind you and that’s all right. It is just as it should be.
I had been worrying about the future. At that moment I knew all was well and no matter how much I projected possible scenarios, it would be just as it should. And it was.
My unexpected insight seems to come either as I’m getting ready to fall asleep or in the early morning – both when my mind and body were relaxed. I am able to form thoughts with insight and come to balanced conclusions about where I am in the stream of time, the depth, understanding, & acceptance of relationships & what role I will play within them. These insights have overflowed into a sense of peace & joy throughout each day now and I am inspired to finally be myself.
Yes, several times. I stated I wanted to work with a celebrity and ran into her two week later. Also dreamed of a contract I would get and without applying it was offered to me as a rfp.
