Return Policy

We unconditionally guarantee your satisfaction with Sounds True products for up to one year when purchased from Sounds True, excluding Sounds True One memberships, events, and in-depth programs, which are subject to unique refund policies as outlined below. If a Sounds True product fails to meet your expectation for any reason, simply contact Sounds True customer service for a refund. For items purchased from Sounds True that are manufactured by other companies, we indicate the warranty period in the product description.

Please note: Due to credit card fraud protection policies, refund requests for direct Sounds True credit card purchases up to 365 days from the order date will be refunded back to the credit card. If the purchase was paid for using PayPal, refunds will be made back to PayPal within 180 days from the purchase date; after 180 days and up to 365 days from the purchase date, the purchase will be refunded via a paper check (in US dollars) and mailed to the billing address on file. If this is not possible, we will apply a credit to your account.

RETURNS OF HARD GOODS

In the event you need a refund, we will honor any order placed with us within 365 days from the order date. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

RETURNS OF DIGITAL AUDIO AND VIDEO PRODUCTS, MEMBERSHIPS, AND EVENTS

DIGITAL PRODUCT REFUNDS

We allow refunds for any order placed with us within 365 days from the order date. Please email support@soundstrue.com with DIGITAL PRODUCT REFUNDS in the subject line.

SOUNDS TRUE ONE MEMBERSHIP REFUNDS

We allow refunds for up to 30 days from the initial subscription date. Please email membership@soundstrue.com with SOUNDS TRUE ONE MEMBERSHIP REFUNDS in the subject line.

Please make sure to provide the following information:

  • Your first and last name
  • Order number (if available)
  • Postal code
  • Phone number or email
  • Reason for requesting a refund

EVENTS REFUNDS

Each event will have a refund policy specific to that particular event and event venue. As such, please find the event refund policy listed on the individual event page.

RETURNS OF IN-DEPTH PROGRAMS

Given the unique nature of the Sounds True In-Depth Programs, each program has its own refund and cancellation policy, and a full refund cannot be guaranteed. Our team is happy to discuss options with you. Please see below for contact information. 

OTHER COMPANY PRODUCTS SOLD BY SOUNDS TRUE

Sounds True sometimes offers products not manufactured by Sounds True. For these items, we indicate the warranty period in the product description, which can be different from Sounds True’s return policy period. Please verify your product meets these specific timeframes for all refunds.

Unfortunately, it is part of the bundle, and substitutions are not allowed.

 

Can I download the course audio or video content to a computer or mobile device?

You can download the audio/video content onto your computer or Android mobile device. With the exception of eBooks, Apple has restrictions that prevent items from being downloaded directly to iOS devices, unless purchased from iTunes or Apple. Digital items may be downloaded to your computer and then synchronized to your iOS device via iTunes. Courses are also available to stream within the Sounds True App.

 

Can I stream the live sessions from a computer or my mobile device?

Live sessions are viewable on Mac and PC. You can stream them on Android and Apple mobile devices through the browser. If you are not using WiFi, please check with your mobile carrier, as additional data rates may apply.

 

How do I know what time live sessions start if I live abroad or in a different time zone?

All events are Eastern Time unless otherwise noted. Here is the schedule. Please use a time zone converter of your choice or thetimezoneconverter.com.

 

Why is the video player blank, or why can’t I hear it?

Player solutions:

  • The session has not started. Please wait a few minutes.
  • Try refreshing your browser window or clearing your browser’s cache.
  • If the broadcast stops or you see a black screen, try refreshing your browser window.
  • If you are using a Windows PC, we recommend using the Google Chrome web browser.
  • If you are on a Mac, we recommend using the Safari web browser.
  • If you can’t hear anything, check the two places your volume is controlled. One is your video player and the other is your computer.

 

Are the sessions live or prerecorded?

The course videos are prerecorded. Videos noted as “Live” are live.
